We did not sign up for or use the other tools here: what follows is read from their own public pages on the dates shown, with stated facts kept apart from marketing claims. How we review.
Jobapplier: read on 2026-10-31 from its public pages and public plans API on jobapplier.co, signed out, and from its code. The signed-in features are described from the code and its documentation, not from a hands-on run, and no application was sent for this site.
How we ordered this list
- Can you approve each application before it is sent? Sonara lets you delete jobs you do not want, but describes no review of each form.
- Do its own pages name where it applies? Sonara's name no job boards, career sites or form systems.
- Are prices shown before sign-up, with a free plan or trial to start on? Sonara's are on an offer page after sign-up.
- What refund do its terms allow?

-
5. Jobapplier
Sending only where your own rules say Apply
The Agent applies to jobs your rules pick on eleven named form systems, with a picture of each form before Submit, but no per-job approval; in the extension you always press Submit. Free plan, public prices, 7-day full refund on Pro.
- Paid from
- $39.99 a month

What Sonara says it does
On its pages as read on 30 October 2026, Sonara described a service that keeps finding jobs and applying to them until you are hired. It says it scans millions of openings, sends you a daily list of new matched roles, and fills out applications from its own side, with no browser extension named. Its terms let you delete the jobs you do not want it to apply to and have it apply to the rest. They also allow it to create and use an email alias to apply for you, and to use employers’ authentication codes to complete sign-in steps on your behalf. Support is by phone and chat.
We could not check any of this again. On 31 October 2026 every sonara.ai page we requested failed: the home and how-it-works pages closed the connection, and the terms page timed out.
What its pages leave open
Most of what you would want to know before handing over your job search is missing. No page names a job board, a career site or an applicant tracking system. No price is public; billing terms sit on an offer page after sign-up, and the terms speak only of monthly or annual subscriptions. Nothing states a free plan, a trial, a refund policy, a daily cap, resume tailoring, or what automation means for your LinkedIn or job-board accounts. The terms speak of authentication codes but not of opening employer accounts.
That is why the picks above were ordered by what Sonara’s pages leave open, starting with whether you can approve each application.
How the alternatives differ
LoopCV fills nearly every gap. It names LinkedIn, Indeed and more than 30 boards, names the systems it fills on career sites, and shows monthly prices with a free plan. Its Easy Apply jobs wait for you to run its extension in your own browser. Its tailoring works only on manual applications.
AIApply shares Sonara’s model most closely on email: it applies with an inbox it manages, where employers’ codes and links arrive. It differs in letting you approve every job and in charging a credit only when an application goes through. Auto Apply is not refunded once anything has been sent.
JobCopilot applies only on official company career pages and says it creates no account there, which some people prefer to an alias. Full prices appear after sign-up.
JobHire is the nearest to Sonara’s hidden-price model: US roles, applications sent for you in batches, prices after sign-up, and no refunds. Its manual mode is the difference.
Jobapplier replaces the daily list with rules: nothing is sent until you write an Apply rule. Its Agent works on eleven single-page form systems and does not do LinkedIn Easy Apply; it is capped at 30 a day and its extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet.

| Auto apply | It finds and applies to jobs continuously. [source] It sends a daily list of new matched roles. [source] | Full auto-apply runs on its servers, with your computer off and without being logged in. [source] | Auto Apply submits applications for you, based on the criteria you set, including multi-step forms and custom questions. [source] | Its auto-apply goes only to postings on official company websites and career pages. [source] | Approved or auto-applied jobs go to an Application Queue and are sent in batches, which the FAQ says avoids red flags on the employer's side. [source] A Job Match Threshold in the search settings decides how close a match must be for a job to enter the queue. [source] | The Agent applies only to jobs that fit one of the person's Apply rules and none of their Skip rules, on the single-page forms of eleven systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Rippling, Breezy, Teamtailor, Pinpoint, BambooHR and Personio. [source] A new account starts with one Skip rule (scores below 70) and no Apply rule, so nothing is sent until the person writes one. [source] |
| Autofill | It fills out applications from its own side; its pages name no browser extension. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | Its Chrome extension autofills a job application on any site (company site, job board, ATS); you review and submit it yourself. [source] | Its pages do not say | The Chrome extension fills forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday (multipage), iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and many other career sites; every AI-written answer is marked. [source] |
| Who presses Submit | Its terms let you delete the jobs you do not want it to apply to; it applies to the rest for you. No page describes reviewing each filled form before it is sent. [source] Its how-it-works page, a sign-up page, tells the person to hit submit; no page describes reviewing each form before it goes. [source] | You can fully automate or keep manual review on and approve each job; Auto-Apply can also be switched off, leaving only matches. [source] For each matching job it fills the form and submits it with no clicking from you. [source] | Three modes: Auto Mode sends every matching job with no input; Hybrid sends jobs with a fit score of 75 or more and holds the rest for approval; Review Mode needs approval for every job. [source] In Hybrid mode only jobs at or above a fit score of 75 are sent without approval. [source] While an application is 'Preparing to Apply' you can change its resume or cover letter; once it is 'Applying Now' it is locked. The documents and answers sent can be seen afterwards on the dashboard. [source] | You choose whether the copilot applies by itself or fills applications and saves them for you to review before submitting. [source] | JobHire submits the applications itself. Auto-apply is on by default; a user can switch to manual mode to review each job first. [source] In User Settings the user picks Auto-Apply instantly, after 24 hours, or fully manual; in manual mode each application is approved or rejected under Preview Applications, and an approved one is submitted by JobHire. [source] | In the extension the person presses Submit, the panel's Submit Application or the form's own; the extension never submits by itself and waits while a required field is empty. [source] Before the Agent presses Submit it takes a picture of the filled form; Review shows each question with the answer that went. [source] |
| Where jobs come from | Its pages do not say | It scans LinkedIn, Indeed and more than 30 job boards for matches. [source] A search can also scan company career websites when enabled. [source] | Its pages do not say | It searches company career pages for new jobs every 2 hours. [source] Each copilot searches up to 5 job titles; Elite allows 3 copilots, so 15 searches at once, or 3 countries. [source] | The home page says it covers U.S. roles only. [source] | Jobs are read every hour from employers' career pages on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and other applicant tracking systems, and LinkedIn postings are read with no account, only those whose Apply button leads to the employer's own site. [source] |
| Its pages do not say | Its Chrome extension applies to LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs you select in the dashboard, in your logged-in LinkedIn session; it does not store your LinkedIn password. [source] No page read discloses a risk to the person's LinkedIn account; the page on its LinkedIn extension speaks only of the password not being stored. [source] | LinkedIn job links can be pasted into the Premium plan's Application Kit to generate a tailored resume and cover letter; the article then has you follow guided steps to submit. It does not describe applying on LinkedIn itself or Easy Apply. [source] On platform risk, its terms say some platforms restrict automation, that compliance is the user's responsibility, and that it is not liable if a platform suspends, limits or rejects submissions. [source] | No page reviewed says it applies on LinkedIn or Indeed; its auto-apply pages name only company career pages. Its terms say auto-apply acts on your behalf at your own risk. [source] | Its pages do not say | LinkedIn Easy Apply postings are not added and not filled; signing in with a LinkedIn account is switched off today. [source] | |
| Limits and caps | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | You set a daily limit between 10 and 100 applications; the queue pauses when it is reached and resets each day. [source] One credit is one application; a credit is spent only when an application is submitted successfully. Unused credits roll over while the subscription is active and are lost on cancellation. [source] More credits are bought as an upgrade at $49 for 100, $99 for 250, $199 for 600, $299 for 1,000 or $499 for 2,000 applications; the billing date resets to the purchase date. [source] | Up to 20 auto-applications a day on Premium and up to 50 on Elite. [source] | Its pages do not say | A CAPTCHA or an emailed code stops the Agent's application and hands it to the person; Jobapplier does not solve CAPTCHAs or read email. [source] The Agent sends up to 30 applications a day on Pro. [source] |
| Browsers and extension | Its pages do not say | The extension works on job boards with an Easy Apply flow: LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, Reed, StepStone and GulfTalent; such jobs wait until you run it. [source] | Its pages do not say | The extension is free to install but needs an active subscription to autofill. [source] | Its pages do not say | Chrome only, and the extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. [source] |
| Resume tailoring | Its pages do not say | CV tailoring to a job match works only for manual applications; it reorganizes and emphasizes existing content and downloads as PDF. [source] Tailoring does not add new content. [source] | Tailored resumes per job need the additional tailoring subscription; the tailored documents are made by the system and cannot be edited. [source] | Resume tailoring for each application is on the Elite plan, and each tailored version can be reviewed and edited before submission. [source] | Its pages do not say | One resume per posting at a level the person picks: Off (the default), Light, Balanced or Aggressive. No level adds or changes an employer, job title, seniority, date, place of work, school, degree, certification or work authorization. The file is a one-column PDF named Resume.pdf. [source] No .docx export: the resume is a PDF. [source] |
| ATS check and match score | Its pages do not say | On career sites it fills and submits forms on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, iCIMS and others. [source] | Jobs on application systems it cannot drive are marked 'not supported' and skipped, with no credit charged; the page does not list which systems these are. [source] | Since 25 May 2026 it also auto-applies on 'Expanded Career Sites' such as Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, at 1 credit an application; its 40 'Included Career Sites' stay unlimited within the plan. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say |
| Cover letters | A profile can store cover letters; its pages do not say it writes them. [source] | A default cover letter is prepared, or you write your own. [source] | Cover letters are generated and submitted automatically when an application requires one, in the posting's language; a personal cover letter cannot be uploaded. [source] | Its pages do not say | JobHire writes a cover letter for every application from the profile, the resume and the posting. [source] | Cover letters are written for one posting from that posting's resume and the profile, in a professional, warm or direct tone; a sentence that claims more than they show is rewritten or cut. [source] |
| Job tracker | Its pages do not say | It tracks email opens and replies and which CV performs best, and lets you A/B test CVs. [source] | Its pages do not say | A daily email recap reports how many jobs were auto-applied; an application tracker is on both plans. [source] | Its pages do not say | A Tracker board of applications with no limit on any plan. [source] |
| Interview practice | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | Interview Buddy is a desktop app that gives live answer suggestions during interviews on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other online platforms; mock interviews are separate. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | No interview practice. [source] |
| Phone apps | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | There is an iPhone app (iOS 16.4 or later); the help article names no Android app. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | No phone app in an app store today: the web app runs in a browser, the extension in Chrome on a computer. [source] |
| Trial | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | There is no free trial. [source] | Its pages do not say | There is no free trial; a one-time discount is offered to users who subscribe right after registering. [source] | No free trial of Pro; there is a Free plan. [source] |
| Refunds and cancelling | Its pages do not say | The pricing page's FAQ offers refunds within 7 days of purchase if no more than 10% of the plan's application quota was used. [source] Its refund policy (effective 1 January 2025) sets other conditions: a faulty service or unauthorised charge, within 7 days, fewer than 20 jobs applied and fewer than 50 matches, at least 2 full days of running, latest charge only; Done For You is never refunded. [source] The Done For You plan is non-refundable. [source] | Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; fees are generally non-refundable, except a reproducible technical issue or an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes with no meaningful use. [source] Auto Apply is not refundable once applications have been submitted, and outcomes (no interviews or offers) are no ground for a refund. [source] UK buyers of digital services acknowledge that they lose the 14-day right to cancel. [source] | A refund, full or partial, only for a technical issue reported within the first 7 days of the subscription; the team may instead extend the usage period. [source] | All subscription fees, first purchases and renewals, are non-refundable; money goes back to the card only for billing errors. [source] With no interview invitation after 15 days (asked within 30 days of purchase), a user may get two more weeks of service as account credit, only if Fast Track, all work types, at least 5 states including a high-volume one, and Auto-apply or Immediate-apply were set. [source] Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; a user can Pause, which stops searching and applying, or Cancel, which stops renewals. A renewed term is credited only if asked within 24 hours and the search was paused. [source] | Every Pro payment can be refunded in full within 7 days, no questions asked; Paddle is the Merchant of Record. [source] |
| Data, accounts and risk | Its terms allow it to create and use an email alias to apply for you. [source] It uses employers' authentication codes to complete sign-in steps for you. [source] | Its pages do not say | It applies with an AIApply email address whose inbox it manages, so employers' confirmations, one-time passwords and login links reach it; OTP emails go to that inbox's Deleted folder. [source] | Its Chrome Web Store listing (version 1.5.27, updated 11 February 2026) declares that it handles personally identifiable information, financial and payment information, authentication information, web history and website content. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its terms say the Agent fills forms from Jobapplier's servers in a browser that hides the signs of automation so that bot checks accept it, and that many sites, LinkedIn among them, do not allow automation. Questions
Why compare against Sonara from an older reading?
Every sonara.ai page failed to load on 31 October 2026, so what this page says about Sonara comes from its pages as read on 30 October 2026. Check its site yourself before deciding.
Which apps like Sonara AI show their prices?
LoopCV and AIApply state theirs on their own pages, and Jobapplier lists its plans publicly. JobCopilot shows only per-day starting prices, and JobHire shows prices only after sign-up, as Sonara does.
Which alternative lets me check each application first?
LoopCV and AIApply let you approve each job, JobCopilot can save filled applications for review, and JobHire has a manual mode. Jobapplier's Agent sends without a per-job approval once your rules pick a job.
Do any of these use their own email address to apply?
AIApply applies with an AIApply email inbox it manages, as Sonara's terms allow it to with an email alias. LoopCV's emailed applications reply to your own inbox.
