Editorial policy

Facts, claims and judgement are kept apart
- Facts are what a product's own pages state and anyone can check: a price, a supported browser, a daily limit, a policy. Each one shows its source and the day we read it.
- Claims are a product's marketing about itself that cannot be checked from outside ("more interviews", user counts). We list them separately and never repeat them as facts.
- Judgement is ours: the verdict, who a tool suits, its strengths and weaknesses. It is written as opinion and rests on the facts on the same page.
- Not verified marks what a product's pages do not say, or a page that refused automated reading. We do not get past a block to read a page.
What we did and did not test
We do not sign up for the products we review. A page about a product we did not use is labelled research-based: everything on it comes from that product's public website, help pages, pricing page, store listing and terms. We do not call any of it hands-on.
For Jobapplier, its code and documentation were read as well; each page that uses them says so, and its sources mark them.
No scores, no ratings, no paid placement
We publish no star ratings, scores, review counts or testimonials. Lists are ordered by criteria written at the top of each list. No company pays to appear here, and our links to other products are plain links with no affiliate code.
Links to Jobapplier
Links to jobapplier.co carry a tag naming this site and the page, so it can tell which pages people found useful. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics of its own.
Dates and corrections
Each page shows the day it was last verified. Products change their prices and features often; if something here is wrong or out of date, write to support@jobapplier.co and we will check it against the product's pages and correct it, with the new date. Vendors may write in the same way; a correction needs a public page we can cite.
