We did not sign up for or use Simplify: what follows is read from its own public pages on the dates shown, with stated facts kept apart from marketing claims. How we review.

Jobapplier: read on 2026-10-31 from its public pages and public plans API on jobapplier.co, signed out, and from its code. The signed-in features are described from the code and its documentation, not from a hands-on run, and no application was sent for this site.

Good fit if

  • Simplify: you want forms filled for free, as often as you apply, and you press Submit yourself.
  • Simplify: you use a Chromium browser other than Chrome, Firefox or an iPhone, or you apply outside English-speaking markets.
  • Jobapplier: you want automatic applications decided by rules you write, rather than picking each job for a run.
  • Jobapplier: you want a resume made for each posting that never changes your employers, role titles or dates.

Look elsewhere if

  • Simplify: you want a refund after a plan is activated, or more than 20 automatic submissions a week.
  • Jobapplier: you want unlimited free autofill, or an extension you can install from the Chrome Web Store today.
  • Jobapplier: you want postings in languages other than English, or a phone app you can install from a store.

The core difference

Both are a browser extension that fills application forms, with a paid plan that can submit for you. Where they differ is the free side and how the automatic side picks jobs.

Simplify’s Copilot is free, has no application limit and leaves the employer’s Submit to you. Simplify+ adds Autopilot: you pick each job from its matches, board or search, and Autopilot fills and submits it with no review step.

Jobapplier’s extension also never presses Submit by itself; you press the panel’s Submit Application or the form’s own button, and every AI-written answer is marked. On the Free plan it fills 4 forms a day. Pro adds the cloud Agent, which applies to the jobs your Apply rules pick and none of your Skip rules exclude. Nothing is sent until you write an Apply rule.

Jobapplier’s lines here come from its public pages and its code; Simplify’s from its own pages and help centre, read signed out. We did not use Simplify.

Where they work

Simplify’s Copilot names Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Taleo, Avature, Lever and SmartRecruiters, and says support depends on the form. It runs in Chrome and other Chromium browsers, in Firefox as a beta and in Safari through its iPhone app. Its job matches cover ten countries, the US, the UK, Canada, Germany and India among them.

Jobapplier’s extension fills Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday’s multipage forms, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and other career sites, in Chrome only, and it is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. Its catalogue holds English-language postings only. On browsers, phones and countries, Simplify reaches further.

Automatic applying

Autopilot comes with 20 credits a week; a credit is used only on a successful submission and unused ones do not roll over. It enters emailed one-time codes through a forwarding address on its partner domain. Its pages do not say which postings it supports or where the run happens.

Jobapplier’s Agent sends at most 30 a day from Jobapplier’s servers, on the single-page forms of eleven named systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Rippling, Breezy, Teamtailor, Pinpoint, BambooHR and Personio. A CAPTCHA or an emailed code stops that application and hands it to you. Its terms say the Agent’s browser hides the signs of automation so bot checks accept it.

Resumes

Simplify+ rewrites a whole resume, a section or single bullets for a job, and you review the changes before applying them. Autopilot’s tailored resume, though, is not shown to you before it submits. Jobapplier makes one resume for each posting at a level you set, Off by default, and no level changes your employers, role titles, dates, degrees or work authorization. Simplify’s Resume Builder and Job Tracker are free; so are Jobapplier’s job scores and Tracker.

Refunds

Simplify does not refund an activated subscription, apart from an unintended web renewal reported within 24 hours, pro-rated, and extended, verifiable technical issues. Jobapplier refunds any Pro payment in full within 7 days.

Auto apply
You pick each job for Autopilot from Job Matches, the Job Board or search; it is offered only on supported postings and not on a job marked already applied. [source]
The Agent applies only to jobs that fit one of the person's Apply rules and none of their Skip rules, on the single-page forms of eleven systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Rippling, Breezy, Teamtailor, Pinpoint, BambooHR and Personio. [source]
A new account starts with one Skip rule (scores below 70) and no Apply rule, so nothing is sent until the person writes one. [source]
Autofill
With continuous multipage autofill on, Copilot keeps filling supported pages after you start; you still review and submit. [source]
The Chrome extension fills forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday (multipage), iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and many other career sites; every AI-written answer is marked. [source]
Who presses Submit
Copilot (the extension) fills the form; you review it and press the employer's final Submit yourself. [source]
Autopilot (Simplify+) fills and submits the application with no review step; starting the run authorizes submission. [source]
In the extension the person presses Submit, the panel's Submit Application or the form's own; the extension never submits by itself and waits while a required field is empty. [source]
Before the Agent presses Submit it takes a picture of the filled form; Review shows each question with the answer that went. [source]
Where jobs come from
Job Matches covers the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy and Spain. [source]
Jobs are read every hour from employers' career pages on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and other applicant tracking systems, and LinkedIn postings are read with no account, only those whose Apply button leads to the employer's own site. [source]
LinkedIn
On LinkedIn and Indeed the extension reads job descriptions for missing resume keywords; its pages do not say Copilot or Autopilot applies through LinkedIn Easy Apply. [source]
LinkedIn Easy Apply postings are not added and not filled; signing in with a LinkedIn account is switched off today. [source]
Limits and caps
Simplify+ includes 20 Autopilot credits a week; a credit is used only for a successful submission, failed or cancelled runs use none, and unused credits do not roll over. [source]
Copilot autofill has no application limit. [source]
A CAPTCHA or an emailed code stops the Agent's application and hands it to the person; Jobapplier does not solve CAPTCHAs or read email. [source]
The Agent sends up to 30 applications a day on Pro. [source]
Browsers and extension
Copilot runs on Chrome and other Chromium browsers; Firefox is in beta with limited support; on iPhone it is a Safari extension in the iOS app. [source]
Chrome only, and the extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. [source]
Resume tailoring
Autopilot can generate a tailored resume and does not show it to you for approval before it submits. [source]
With a target job, Simplify+ rewrites the whole resume, a section or single bullets; you review the changes before applying them, and the source file stays separate. [source]
One resume per posting at a level the person picks: Off (the default), Light, Balanced or Aggressive. No level adds or changes an employer, job title, seniority, date, place of work, school, degree, certification or work authorization. The file is a one-column PDF named Resume.pdf. [source]
No .docx export: the resume is a PDF. [source]
Cover letters
Simplify+ generates a cover letter in Copilot from the job description and your profile; you review and edit it before using it. [source]
Cover letters are written for one posting from that posting's resume and the profile, in a professional, warm or direct tone; a sentence that claims more than they show is rewritten or cut. [source]
Job tracker
Applications submitted with Copilot are saved to a Job Tracker; Gmail can be connected for matched conversations and suggested status updates, free. [source]
A Tracker board of applications with no limit on any plan. [source]
Phone apps
An iOS app to browse, save and track jobs; Simplify+ members can start Autopilot from it, or apply in Safari with Copilot. [source]
No phone app in an app store today: the web app runs in a browser, the extension in Chrome on a computer. [source]
Refunds and cancelling
Activated subscriptions are non-refundable; an unintended web renewal may get a pro-rated refund if you write within 24 hours, less processing fees; extended, verifiable technical issues may get a credit or refund; App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. [source]
Dissatisfaction with AI output, or not getting interviews or offers, is not grounds for a refund. [source]
Every Pro payment can be refunded in full within 7 days, no questions asked; Paddle is the Merchant of Record. [source]

For autofill alone, Simplify: its Copilot is free with no limit. Their paid plans cost about the same: Simplify+ is $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 for three months; Jobapplier's Pro is $17.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 a quarter.

Which one submits applications for me?

Both paid plans can. Simplify's Autopilot submits jobs you pick, with no review step, using 20 credits a week. Jobapplier's Agent submits jobs your Apply rules pick, up to 30 a day, keeping a picture of each form before Submit. Both free extensions leave the Submit to you.

Which works on more sites?

For filling forms, both name Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS and SmartRecruiters, and neither lists every site. For automatic submitting, Jobapplier names eleven systems; Simplify's pages say only 'supported postings'.

Which has the better refund?

Jobapplier refunds any Pro payment in full within 7 days. Simplify does not refund an activated subscription, apart from an unintended renewal reported within 24 hours and verifiable technical issues.
