We did not sign up for or use the other tools here: what follows is read from their own public pages on the dates shown, with stated facts kept apart from marketing claims. How we review.
Jobapplier: read on 2026-10-31 from its public pages and public plans API on jobapplier.co, signed out, and from its code. The signed-in features are described from the code and its documentation, not from a hands-on run, and no application was sent for this site.
How we ordered this list
- How much autofill does the free plan include? Simplify Copilot's has no limit, so this is what you would give up first.
- Do its pages say who presses the final Submit, and whether any automatic mode has a review step? Simplify Autopilot has none.
- Do its pages name the form systems it fills?
- Are prices public, and what refund do the terms allow? Simplify's activated subscriptions are non-refundable.
The alternatives
-
1. Jobright
A free autofill extension for US roles
Daily free credits on every feature, amounts not stated. Names Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Ashby and Workable, and you submit. Its AI Agent page does not say who submits. Turbo prices at checkout; 7-day refund on a first Monthly, Quarterly or 6-Month plan.
- Paid from
- Not shown publicly
- Free plan
- Yes
- Who presses Submit
- The autofill page's four steps end with the user submitting the application after the extension fills it.
-
2. Careerflow
Autofill with a resume optimiser and mock interviews
Free Basic plan with limited autofill; you review and submit, and it never applies for you. Its autofill page and help centre list different systems. Premium from $8.99 a week; its FAQ and terms disagree on refunds.
- Paid from
- $23.99 a month
- Free plan
- Yes
- Who presses Submit
- The autofill fills the form and the user reviews and submits it; nothing is sent without the user confirming.
-
3. Jobapplier
Multipage forms, with every AI answer marked
Free plan, 4 autofills a day. The extension fills Workday's multipage forms, iCIMS, Greenhouse and others and never presses Submit itself; the Pro Agent applies only where your rules say Apply, on eleven systems. Chrome only and not in the Chrome Web Store yet. 7-day full refund on Pro.
- Paid from
- $39.99 a month
- Free plan
- Yes
- Who presses Submit
- In the extension the person presses Submit, the panel's Submit Application or the form's own; the extension never submits by itself and waits while a required field is empty.

4. JobCopilot
Applying on company career pages, with review
No free autofill: the extension needs a subscription. It fills any site while you submit, and its copilot can apply or save filled applications for your review. Only per-day starting prices are shown; refunds only for a technical issue in the first 7 days.

- Who presses Submit
- You choose whether the copilot applies by itself or fills applications and saves them for you to review before submitting.
What you would be leaving
Simplify Jobs gives away the part most people use: Simplify Copilot, an extension that fills application forms with no application limit and leaves the employer’s final Submit to you. It names Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Taleo, Avature, Lever and SmartRecruiters among the systems it fills, runs on Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc, has a Firefox beta, and works as a Safari extension inside its iPhone app. The free plan also has a Resume Builder, a Job Tracker and Gmail integration.
The paid side, Simplify+, is where reasons to look elsewhere usually start. It costs $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 for three months. Its Autopilot fills and submits chosen jobs with no review step, and does not show you the tailored resume it writes before submitting. It gives 20 credits a week that do not roll over. Once a subscription is activated, payments are non-refundable, apart from a pro-rated refund on an unintended renewal reported within 24 hours.
So the picks above start from the free plan, then look at who submits, then at named systems and refunds. We did not use any of them; each line is from its own pages.
How they compare with Simplify Copilot
Jobright is the closest to Simplify’s free offer: daily free credits on every feature and an autofill whose steps end with you submitting. It shows a match score before autofill and uses its tailored resume to fill the fields. Its AI Agent, by contrast, is described without saying who presses Submit. It covers US roles only, and its Chrome listing says the developer has not identified itself as a trader, so EU consumer rights do not apply.
Careerflow never applies for you. Its free plan’s autofill is described only as limited, and its two lists of supported systems disagree on whether Workday is one of them. Its resume optimiser shows each suggestion for you to accept.
Jobapplier has the smallest stated free autofill of these, 4 a day, and fills in Chrome only, from an extension installed outside the Chrome Web Store for now. What it offers instead is a Pro Agent that sends only to jobs your own rules pick, with a picture of each form before Submit, on single-page forms of eleven systems, up to 30 a day. It handles English postings only and does not do LinkedIn Easy Apply.
JobCopilot has no free autofill. Its value is the copilot that searches company career pages every 2 hours and applies there, by itself or after your review.
If Autopilot’s credits were the reason
None of these sells a weekly credit pack like Autopilot’s. JobCopilot caps automatic applications at 20 a day on Premium and 50 on Elite, and Jobapplier’s Agent at 30 a day on Pro. Neither Jobright nor Careerflow states a daily cap for its extension.

| Auto apply | You pick each job for Autopilot from Job Matches, the Job Board or search; it is offered only on supported postings and not on a job marked already applied. [source] | The AI Agent page says the agent matches roles, customizes the resume and applies for the user; it does not say who presses the final Submit or whether there is a review step. [source] The AI Agent page describes one click sending a tailored resume, filling the forms and tracking each submission. [source] The AI Agent page's FAQ says job matching, resume tailoring and autofill are available and that the rest of the agent's features were to launch in June. [source] | Careerflow does not apply for the user: from its job portal the application is made on the original job site. [source] | The Agent applies only to jobs that fit one of the person's Apply rules and none of their Skip rules, on the single-page forms of eleven systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Rippling, Breezy, Teamtailor, Pinpoint, BambooHR and Personio. [source] A new account starts with one Skip rule (scores below 70) and no Apply rule, so nothing is sent until the person writes one. [source] | Its auto-apply goes only to postings on official company websites and career pages. [source] |
| Autofill | With continuous multipage autofill on, Copilot keeps filling supported pages after you start; you still review and submit. [source] | The autofill page names the ATS it fills: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Ashby and Workable, among others. [source] The autofill uses the Jobright profile and the tailored resume to complete the application's fields, and shows a match score before autofill. [source] | Its pages do not say | The Chrome extension fills forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday (multipage), iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and many other career sites; every AI-written answer is marked. [source] | Its Chrome extension autofills a job application on any site (company site, job board, ATS); you review and submit it yourself. [source] |
| Who presses Submit | Copilot (the extension) fills the form; you review it and press the employer's final Submit yourself. [source] Autopilot (Simplify+) fills and submits the application with no review step; starting the run authorizes submission. [source] | The autofill page's four steps end with the user submitting the application after the extension fills it. [source] | The autofill fills the form and the user reviews and submits it; nothing is sent without the user confirming. [source] | In the extension the person presses Submit, the panel's Submit Application or the form's own; the extension never submits by itself and waits while a required field is empty. [source] Before the Agent presses Submit it takes a picture of the filled form; Review shows each question with the answer that went. [source] | You choose whether the copilot applies by itself or fills applications and saves them for you to review before submitting. [source] |
| Where jobs come from | Job Matches covers the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy and Spain. [source] | Jobright covers U.S.-based roles only. [source] | The job portal pulls listings from job boards and is available only to U.S.-based users. [source] | Jobs are read every hour from employers' career pages on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and other applicant tracking systems, and LinkedIn postings are read with no account, only those whose Apply button leads to the employer's own site. [source] | It searches company career pages for new jobs every 2 hours. [source] Each copilot searches up to 5 job titles; Elite allows 3 copilots, so 15 searches at once, or 3 countries. [source] |
On LinkedIn and Indeed the extension reads job descriptions for missing resume keywords; its pages do not say Copilot or Autopilot applies through LinkedIn Easy Apply. [source] | Its pages do not say | The LinkedIn optimizer reads the user's public profile through the extension; the FAQ says it uses no LinkedIn API or automation against LinkedIn's terms. [source] | LinkedIn Easy Apply postings are not added and not filled; signing in with a LinkedIn account is switched off today. [source] | No page reviewed says it applies on LinkedIn or Indeed; its auto-apply pages name only company career pages. Its terms say auto-apply acts on your behalf at your own risk. [source] | |
| Limits and caps | Simplify+ includes 20 Autopilot credits a week; a credit is used only for a successful submission, failed or cancelled runs use none, and unused credits do not roll over. [source] Copilot autofill has no application limit. [source] | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | A CAPTCHA or an emailed code stops the Agent's application and hands it to the person; Jobapplier does not solve CAPTCHAs or read email. [source] The Agent sends up to 30 applications a day on Pro. [source] | Up to 20 auto-applications a day on Premium and up to 50 on Elite. [source] |
| Browsers and extension | Copilot runs on Chrome and other Chromium browsers; Firefox is in beta with limited support; on iPhone it is a Safari extension in the iOS app. [source] | The autofill is a Chrome Web Store extension published by jobright.ai, version 1.25.2, updated October 29, 2026, with in-app purchases. [source] | The extension runs on Chrome and Chromium-based browsers. Its Chrome Web Store listing shows version 2.20.9, updated September 24, 2026. [source] | Chrome only, and the extension is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. [source] | The extension is free to install but needs an active subscription to autofill. [source] |
| Resume tailoring | Autopilot can generate a tailored resume and does not show it to you for approval before it submits. [source] With a target job, Simplify+ rewrites the whole resume, a section or single bullets; you review the changes before applying them, and the source file stays separate. [source] | Its pages do not say | The resume optimizer rewrites the resume to a pasted job description; the user reviews each suggestion and chooses what to accept. [source] | One resume per posting at a level the person picks: Off (the default), Light, Balanced or Aggressive. No level adds or changes an employer, job title, seniority, date, place of work, school, degree, certification or work authorization. The file is a one-column PDF named Resume.pdf. [source] No .docx export: the resume is a PDF. [source] | Resume tailoring for each application is on the Elite plan, and each tailored version can be reviewed and edited before submission. [source] |
| ATS check and match score | Copilot names Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Taleo, Avature, Lever and SmartRecruiters among the systems it fills, and says support depends on the particular form. [source] A keyword match panel compares the selected resume with the job description, beside a broader Resume Score; the help centre says neither predicts an employer's decision. [source] | Its pages do not say | The autofill page names Greenhouse, Workday and Lever among the platforms it fills. [source] The help centre's autofill article gives a narrower list without Workday: Greenhouse, Lever, Uber's career page, Workable, Okta, Rippling, BreezyHR, JazzHR, JobScore, Jobvite, PinpointHQ and SmartRecruiters. [source] | Its pages do not say | Since 25 May 2026 it also auto-applies on 'Expanded Career Sites' such as Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, at 1 credit an application; its 40 'Included Career Sites' stay unlimited within the plan. [source] |
| Cover letters | Simplify+ generates a cover letter in Copilot from the job description and your profile; you review and edit it before using it. [source] | Its pages do not say | Premium includes an unlimited AI cover letter writer. [source] | Cover letters are written for one posting from that posting's resume and the profile, in a professional, warm or direct tone; a sentence that claims more than they show is rewritten or cut. [source] | Its pages do not say |
| Job tracker | Applications submitted with Copilot are saved to a Job Tracker; Gmail can be connected for matched conversations and suggested status updates, free. [source] | Its pages do not say | The tracker is a Kanban board with notes, documents and to-do lists; the Chrome listing says it saves jobs from 45+ platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster and USAJobs. [source] | A Tracker board of applications with no limit on any plan. [source] | A daily email recap reports how many jobs were auto-applied; an application tracker is on both plans. [source] |
| Interview practice | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | AI Mock Interview and Interview Analysis are part of Premium Plus; the mock interview gives feedback after each answer. [source] | No interview practice. [source] | Its pages do not say |
| Phone apps | An iOS app to browse, save and track jobs; Simplify+ members can start Autopilot from it, or apply in Safari with Copilot. [source] | There is a free iPhone app (iOS 15.0 or later), Jobright - AI Job Search, by Jobright Inc., listing U.S.-based roles only. [source] | There is no mobile app; the web app works in mobile browsers and an app is on its roadmap. [source] | No phone app in an app store today: the web app runs in a browser, the extension in Chrome on a computer. [source] | Its pages do not say |
| Refunds and cancelling | Activated subscriptions are non-refundable; an unintended web renewal may get a pro-rated refund if you write within 24 hours, less processing fees; extended, verifiable technical issues may get a credit or refund; App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. [source] Dissatisfaction with AI output, or not getting interviews or offers, is not grounds for a refund. [source] | First purchases of the Monthly, Quarterly and 6-Month Turbo plans may get a full refund within 7 calendar days of the first charge; Weekly plans within 24 hours. Eligibility may be limited after substantial use of Turbo. [source] An unintended renewal may be refunded if reported within 3 calendar days with no substantial use; no refund is given only for not getting interviews or offers. [source] Turbo subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless canceled; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the paid period. [source] | The FAQ offers a refund within 7 days of purchase with no questions asked. [source] The Terms (updated 13 January 2024) say purchases are final and non-refundable except at Careerflow's discretion, requests must come within 7 days of the first purchase, and the Weekly subscription is never refunded. [source] Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, through the Stripe portal on the Account page; emailing is not enough. [source] | Every Pro payment can be refunded in full within 7 days, no questions asked; Paddle is the Merchant of Record. [source] | A refund, full or partial, only for a technical issue reported within the first 7 days of the subscription; the team may instead extend the usage period. [source] |
| Data, accounts and risk | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | Its pages do not say | Its terms say the Agent fills forms from Jobapplier's servers in a browser that hides the signs of automation so that bot checks accept it, and that many sites, LinkedIn among them, do not allow automation. [source] | Its Chrome Web Store listing (version 1.5.27, updated 11 February 2026) declares that it handles personally identifiable information, financial and payment information, authentication information, web history and website content. Questions
Is there a free alternative to Simplify Copilot?
Jobright gives daily free credits on every feature, Careerflow's Basic plan includes limited autofill and Jobapplier's Free plan gives 4 autofills a day. None of their pages states a free autofill with no limit, as Simplify's does.
Which Simplify Jobs alternatives work outside the US?
Jobright covers US-based roles only, and Careerflow's job portal is for US users. Jobapplier takes English-language postings, and JobCopilot lets Elite search 3 countries. Simplify's own job matches cover ten countries.
Do any of these apply for me the way Simplify Autopilot does?
JobCopilot's copilot applies on company career pages by itself or after your review, and Jobapplier's Pro Agent applies where your rules say Apply. Jobright's AI Agent page says it applies for you but not how. Careerflow does not apply for you.
Which alternatives support browsers other than Chrome?
Careerflow names Chrome and Chromium-based browsers. Jobright's and JobCopilot's extensions are Chrome Web Store listings, and Jobapplier works in Chrome only. Simplify Copilot itself also runs in Edge, Brave, Arc and a Firefox beta.
